Piemonte D.O.C. Albarossa

Type: Red Still

Grape variety: 100% Albarossa

1491 is dedicated to our birth, to the first document that testifies to viticulture on the lands of Castello di Uviglie, almost six centuries ago. It is the fruit of the very rare Albarossa vine, a floral cross between Barbera and Nebbiolo di Dronero, forgotten and now rediscovered thanks to courageous winemaking. Our vineyard is the cradle of one of the most precious clones, with small bunches and low production yields, a paradise for long-lived, structured and intense wines, making every glass an experience.
