Sofia di Bricherasio (1867-1950), countess, philanthropist and patron, last noble owner of the Castello di Uviglie, entrepreneurial woman, great lover of art and wine. To her we dedicate the pinnacle of the oenological richness of Monferrato: a pure Albarossa coming from one of the oldest and most prestigious clones, from the best grapes of the best parcels of our vineyard. An intense, elegant, seductive and highly prestigious wine.

Organoleptic Characteristics

Appearance: Brilliant ruby ​​red

Nose: Great complexity and elegance, with aromas ranging from tobacco to red fruits and rosehip, licorice and herbaceous notes.

Taste profile: Soft yet tannic, juicy and elegant, it envelops the palate with its refined intensity and length, highlighting great evolutionary potential.

Vinification

Selection of grapes, destemming, alcoholic and malolactic fermentation partly in concrete tanks at controlled temperature and partly in wooden barrels with frequent pumping over and long maceration of the skins. Aging in 15 HL wooden barrels for 18 months and subsequent bottling.
